Objective
Our competence-based course, accredited by City & Guilds, is designed to give an understanding in hazardous area concepts for the repair and overhaul of Ex electric motors. The course explains quality assurance requirements and various protection methods from manufacture to repair, overhaul, inspection and maintenance as per the NEC, CENELEC and IEC 60079 standards for electrical equipment.

Exam
Delegates will be assessed against the Learning Outcomes specified in the Content Section using direct observation and oral and/or written questions as appropriate. Delegates will be required to undertake a written test. The pass mark for this course is 80%.
