Personnel in businesses falling under the industrial safety code, or emergency teams selected for Chemical Smoke Diving tasks, such as fire brigades and police.
Prerequisites
Smoke Diving basic course.
Medical certificate: the delegate should be found physical fit to carry out their tasks.
Delegates also need to provide documentation that they have completed and passed the physical tests (test of strenght and fitness test) before they can attend the course.
Before the practical part of the course starts, a test will be handed out on the delegate's knowledge and understanding of the NSO's booklets on "Røykdykking og Farlige stoffer-kjemikalievern" and the guidelines by NSO.
Objective
The aim of the course is to aid effective and responsible handling of unwanted incidents involving toxic solutions, with the aim of saving lives, environment and stop the leakage of chemicals into the environment.
