Escape Chute Training

The Escape Chute Initial Training program is for personnel that require offshore installation and vessel escape chute training in addition to BOSIET, FOET, T-BOSIET or T-FOET

Training and/or assessment activities contained within this Standard may include physically demanding and potentially stressful elements. All personnel who participate in such activities must be physically and mentally capable of participating fully. Delegates participating in the BOSIET, FOET, HUET with CA-EBS or the OPITO Escape Chute course must possess a valid, unexpired offshore medical certificate confirming the delegate’s fitness for offshore work or present an employing company approved medical equivalent to an offshore medical certificate (reviewed and approved by RONC's Center Manager). If a medical is not provided, an approved medical screening form will suffice. *All delegates will be required to complete a medical screen form the first day of training. ITEMS REQUIRED FOR TRAINING: - When checking in for training, please have your GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID with you (ie: Passport or Drivers Licences, etc.) - Shorts, T-Shirt, and Socks for pool exercise - Towels, shower facilities on site - Lock for locker PLEASE NOTE: Certificates CANNOT be issued unless valid Government issued ID has been presented on Day 1 of training for all RONC courses, including OPITO approved training. Please Note that the course is of a stressful and/or physical nature.
