This programme is designed to meet the further offshore safety and emergency response training requirements for personnel working in different part of the world’s offshore oil and gas industry who will be supplied with a compressed air emergency breathing system (CA-EBS) or a re-breather (EBS) during offshore helicopter travel and are required to travel by boat.
Prerequisites
All delegates must be in possession of a valid medical certificate and a valid (in-date) OPITO-approved BOSIET (with CA-EBS), BOSIET, TBOSIET, FOET (with CA-EBS), FOET or TFOET certificate.
Objective
The aim of the FOET (with CA-EBS) and FOET (with re-breather EBS) is to provide the delegates with the opportunity to practise and demonstrate emergency response skills which are not possible to practise during drills, exercises and emergency training offshore including the safety procedures associated with traveling by boat and safely transferring to or from an offshore installation. * This course is accepted by NOG but it is not NOG approved.
