This training course is aimed at experienced fire crews with breathing apparatus awareness and rescue training skills.
Prerequisites
There are no training pre-requisites for this course, however, delegates should be familiar with the operation and use of breathing apparatus.
Objective
The objective of the Breathing Apparatus Awareness training programme is to equip delegates with theoretical knowledge and understanding of hydrogen sulphide.
Course content
The course covers a variety of topics including;
• H2S properties and characteristics
• H2S detection
• Safety precautions
• Escape equipment
• First aid
Exam
The course consists of theoretical training and delegates will have to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the course elements.
Upon successful completion of the training, delegates will be issued with a RelyOn Nutec certificate.
