This course is aimed at sea going personnel engaged in any capacity onboard with designated safety or pollution prevention duties in the operation of the ship.
Prerequisites
All delegates must be in possession of a valid seafarer medical certificate issued by an approved medical practitioner, seaman card / identity document and show evidence of attending STCW Basic Training with certificate issued by the Marine Department of Malaysia only. Any other certificate “from country as listed n“ I/10MOU” need to be verified by the Marine Department of Malaysia.
Objective
During the course delegates will gain and demonstrate to a level of competence the requirements in Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, Elementary First Aid and Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities.
