Valid CCMME or Valid PICA
Individuals must have at least 52 weeks of management and/or supervisory experience on an offshore installation prior to entering the course.
ITEMS REQUIRED FOR TRAINING:
- When checking in for training, please have your GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID with you (ie: Passport or Drivers Licences, etc.)
PLEASE NOTE: Certificates CANNOT be issued unless valid Government issued ID has been presented on Day 1 of training for all RONC courses, including OPITO approved training.
Objective
Upon successful completion of all training components, in accordance with the Training Standard, trainees will receive a RelyOn Nutec Canada certificate that is valid for three (3) years and a electronic wallet card certificate. The certificate indicates: "Person in Charge Assessment"
Course content
Assessments are carried out for OIM and Deputy OIM. During these assessments, candidates must demonstrate competence across the following areas:
- Maintain a state of readiness
- Assess a situation and take effective action
- Maintain communications
- Delegate the authority to act
- Manage individual and team performances
- Deal with stress in self and others
