No pre-requisites are required to attend the HTT training.
CAPP requires that at least 2 helideck team members have the Offshore Fire Team certification.
ITEMS REQUIRED FOR TRAINING:
- When checking in for training, please have GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID with you (ie: Passport or Drivers Licences, etc.)
PLEASE NOTE: Certificates CANNOT be issued unless valid Government issued ID has been presented on Day 1 of training for all RONC courses, including OPITO approved training.
Objective
Upon successful completion of all training components, in accordance with the Training Standard, trainees will receive a RelyOnNutec Canada certificate. The certificate indicates "Helideck Team Training".
Course content
The HTT program is designed to provide all offshore and shore-based personnel employed within an oil / gas specific industry as a member of the Helideck Team with an understanding of the hazards and mitigation controls associated with working around helicopters on a helideck while deployed at sea. The program will provide training specific to offshore emergency response procedures and equipment and meets the requirements as listed in the: Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) Atlantic Canada Offshore Petroleum Industry: Standard Practice for the Training and Qualifications of Personnel; Mandatory Safety Training for All Petroleum Installations; and Personal Safety Training.
