The delegate will be able to exhibit a level of awareness on proper use of grinders and inherent dangers that exist from incorrect or improper usage.
Course content
The following topics will be covered during this training:
- grinder hazards
- guarding requirements
- OSHA regulations relative to grinding
- proper PPE to don when grinding
- adjusting work rests, replacing wheels and conducting ring test
- inspection procedures of grinders prior to being used
