This course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding and knowledge of hazards and associated risks for persons required to enter a confined spaces.
Prerequisites
ITEMS TO BRING: All delegates must bring Photographic I.D. and PASSPORT only (original or copy)
HEALTH: All delegates will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire prior to course commencement.
Objective
The aim and objectives of the Confined Space Awareness / Entry training programme is to ensure that personnel preparing to enter Confined Space are aware of the essential legislation/best working practices and safety requirements for Confined Spaces.
Course content

Hazard Recognition and Assessment
Atmospheric Hazards
Physical Hazards
Code of Practices -Safe Working in Confined Space
Roles and Responsibilities of Entrants
Pre -Entry Consideration / Condition of Entry
Safe Working Procedures
Confined Space Entry Certificates
JSA, PTW, Isolation Certificates
Requirements for PPE and other Associated Equipment
Emergency and Evacuation Procedures
Exam
RelyOn Nutec approved certification for Confined Space Awareness/Entry will be issued on successful
completion of the training programme.
The validity of the certificate is three years.
Delegates should report to reception for 08.00hrs, course starts at 08.15hrs, unless otherwise stated.
