Language: All courses are delivered in English, but translators can be arranged accordingly.
ITEMS TO BRING: All delegates must bring Photographic I.D. and PASSPORT only (original or copy)
HEALTH: All delegates will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire prior to course commencement.
Objective
The aim of the training is to give delegates intending to go to sea the essential basic knowledge and experience of personal survival principles & helicopter escape techniques that can be applied to maximise their chance of survival in the event of offshore incident.
Course content
Delegates will receive theoretical and practical knowledge in the following areas
Appreciation of emergency conditions.
Life-saving & personal protective equipment carried on
ships and in survival craft.
Emergency preparedness: Muster and abandonment
actions.
In-water survival techniques.
Helicopter Theory
Helicopter escape practical.
Exam
RelyOn Nutec approved certification for Offshore Sea Survival (HUET & Sea Survival Combined) will be issued on successful completion of the training programme.
Validity is 3 years.
Delegates should report to reception for 08.00hrs, course starts at 08.15hrs, unless otherwise stated.
