Objective
The objectives of this course are to identify the circumstances in which you have/will have to work at height, to identify the hazard and risks associated with each, so by the end of this course, you will be more aware of the need to exercise the necessity for planning prior to the implementation of the task.
Course content
¿ Learn to recognize and minimize fall hazards ¿ Should be able to erect, maintain, and disassemble fall protection used ¿ Fall protection systems work only when used ¿ Inspect your equipment prior to each use ¿ Protect others from falling objects, by keeping tools and materials organized and away from edges ¿ Reduce arresting forces by limiting fall distance and by using deceleration device ¿ The working conditions and the risks to the safety of persons at the place where the work equipment is to be used. ¿ In the case of work equipment for access and egress, the distance to be negotiated. ¿ The distance and consequences of a potential fall. ¿ The duration and frequency of use. ¿ The need for easy and timely evacuation and rescue in an emergency.
