Upon completion of this course, the delegate will be able to:

-Compare the relationship between smoking and asbestos exposure
-Show familiarity with information on self-help smoking cessation programs
-State the Permissible Exposure Limit for asbestos, and methods of monitoring asbestos
-Identify the location of any asbestos-containing material in the employee's work area
-List the requirements for posting signs and affixing labels
-Explain the meanings of such signs and labels
-Apply engineering controls and work practices
-Identify emergency and clean-up procedures, respirators and protective clothing, hygiene
practices and housekeeping procedures
-State the required elements for a medical surveillance program
