Personnel working within the offshore industry where the use of Lifting equipment is required for
transportation of tools and material from point A to B onshore and offshore. Personnel working
within the wind industry by inspecting, and doing maintenance on the lifting Equipment
Prerequisites
In order to start Dynamic Lifting training, the candidate must be experienced in Static lifting on an
offshore facility. Furthermore the candidate must have a fully maintained Logbook as described in
the Static Lifting Curriculum.
Objective
Aims and Objectives Training in accordance with this Crane and Hoist Training Standard will
enable participants to ensure that the wind industry personal can safely operate, inspect and
maintain common types of fixed cranes and hoist in the wind industry following manufacture
documentation, and local legislation.

Upon completion of the Dynamic Lifting: Offshore Crane Operator course, participants will be able
to safely and competently operate offshore pedestal and BOS cranes and stiff-leg and knuckle
boom cranes onboard a stabilized platform and jack up platforms and Offshore Windfarm
Installation vessels.
