Target group
Level 3 is designed for experienced single intervention discipline subsea operators.
Prerequisites
The candidate must have a valid IWCF Level 3 Well Intervention Pressure Control certificate and be able to provide his/her 6-digit IWCF Candidate Registration (CR) Number.
Objective
The aim of the IWCF Level 3 course is to develop the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of subsea well intervention pressure control. The Level 3 course focuses on the duties and responsibilities of an individual working at operator level.
Course content
The module is delivered through presentation of a series of interactive lectures supported by videos and animations, supplemented by a classroom workbook and further self-study exercises.
Exam
Successful completion of the module and a pass mark of 70% or above in the IWCF written assessment will result in certification. Certification for the Subsea module will be issued in line with the candidate’s current Well Intervention certificate expiry date. For example, if the Subsea module is completed six months after the candidate successfully completes the Well Intervention programme, their current certificate will be updated to include the Subsea module however the expiry date will remain the same.
