This Product is for individuals who have been appointed or are to be appointed to the Assessor role.
Prerequisites
There are no specific entry requirements however, the learner must have access to a minimum of two candidates within their workplace to assess
Objective
To introduce learners to their responsibilities and limitations within the assessment process, and to equip them with the basic knowledge and skills to allow them to undertake the role and to allow learners to demonstrate they have gained sufficient knowledge and skills to allow them to undertake the role in their workplace.

Exam
Learners will need to complete Assessor Workplace evidence in which they have 18 months to collate and supply the information to RelyOn Nutec following completion of theory training.
If successful learners will be awarded an OPITO approved Assessor Vocational Qualification, these are formal Qualifications that are included on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF)
