Objective
This course is designed to give delegates an understanding of the depth and quality of content required in the production and completion of lifting plans and risk assessments. It also introduces the role and responsibilities of the person appointed to oversee, plan or manage lifts. Once completed, delegates will be able to: - Understand the role and responsibilities of the appointed person - Understand the lifting rigging arrangement capacity (WLL) - Understand general lift drawings - Create a basic lifting plan - Understand and create risk assessments based on the lift plan - Understand permit-to-work - Manage slinging operations
