LO2: Explain the task planning process, including hazardous areas identification
LO3: Explain the responsibilities of the Permit to Work originator, approvers, verifiers etc.
LO4: Identify permit types and their relevant work-category activities
LO5: Explain each type of work-site presence
LO6: Describe the sections of the PTW document
LO7: Explain the supplementary certificates and how they fit in to the relevant hazards & controls
LO8: Explain the sequence of authorization and signatures on a permit and when a permit can be signed off
LO9: Explain WorkSafe permit statuses
LO10: Explain the validity for the different permits
LO11: Explain how and when permits are distributed
LO12: Explain worksite preparation steps
LO13: Explain how to lead and perform a Toolbox Talk
LO14: Explain stop work authority
LO15: Identify and explain the hazards and risks of simultaneous working at multiple worksites
LO16: Explain the requirement, techniques and methods for effective handover
LO17: Identify typical reasons for the suspension of work
LO18: Explain the importance of lessons learned
LO19: Explain work conditions changes and what to do
LO20: Complete a PTW in WorkSafe
Exam
The assessment is taken during the course and is within the expected duration.
