For level L3, at least 500 hours of work confirmed by entries in the Logbook as L2
Direct Entry certification enables people who did not have a SPRAT certificate but have skills and experience in using the two-rope technique to obtain qualifications as a rope access technician.
Entrance requirements:
The candidate prepares appropriate documentation and submits it to the SPRAT Committee at least 6 weeks before the scheduled evaluation date.
Level 2:
in the application, the candidate shows experience in working in a two-line system and at least 500 documented hours of work.
Level 3:
it is necessary to demonstrate at least 1,000 hours of work in the rope access system, confirmed by the work manager or the employer. Additionally, the application should include references from employers and a letter of recommendation from the work manager or employer. Mandatory Level 3 Technician should have current first aid training and CPR/AED certification.
