- Be more than 18 years old;

- The student must have successfully completed all theoretical elements in the asynchronous distance learning (online) before participating in the presential sessions (comprising the written theory exam, the practical activities and the practical assessments).
Objective
Qualify the learner for duties on board of “Offshore” units, providing basic knowledge about safety measures and protection on board, in accordance with the recommendations from the items 5.3, 5.4 and 5.5 and the tables 5.5.1 to 5.5.6 of the Resolution A.1079(28) adopted on 04 December 2013, of the International Maritime Organization - IMO.

Exam
The instructor must evaluate the student's performance during practical activities carried out during the course. In the evaluation of the practical exercises, a satisfactory or unsatisfactory concept will be assigned. (Sub-item 2.4 lines “c” and “d” of the Course General Synopsis).
Multiple choice exam (on-site theory assessment) with minimum passing grade of 60%.
