Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain (OLC) Further 5182 Training (Twin Fall)

This Product is designed to meet the further practice requirements not able to be met offshore for an Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain in the energy industry.

Both training entry and medical entry requirements must be met. Attendance on this program is open to learners who are in possession of valid certification for any of the following: - BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training) with Emergency Breathing System (EBS) - BOSIET with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) - TBOSIET (Tropical BOSIET) - FOET (Further Offshore Emergency Training) with EBS - FOET with CA-EBS - TFOET - THUET - BOSIET with CA-EBS – [STCW 95/2010 Conversion] - TBOSIET with CA-EBS – [STCW 95/2010 Conversion] AND one of the following: - A valid Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain Initial Training Certificate, of the corresponding fall type for the Further Training to be undertaken - A valid Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain Supplementary Training Certificate, of the corresponding fall type for the Further Training to be undertaken - A valid Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain Further Training certificate, of the corresponding fall type for the Further Training to be undertaken Training activities contained within this Product may include physically demanding and potentially stressful elements. All personnel who participate in such activities must be capable of participating fully. Trainees will undergo a medical screening by completing an appropriate medical declaration form at center.

This Product aims to provide Offshore Lifeboat Coxswains the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills, and practice certain elements of their role which they cannot reasonably practice offshore.

The topics covered during this training are: 1. Use of the Sea Anchor and Maintaining the Safety of Passengers 2. Preparing to Launch and Launching TEMPSC 3. Moving TEMPSC to Safe Area and Disembarkation Procedures
