Target group: Personnel working in the wind industry or related fields, needing to refresh their GWO BST/ BSTR Working at Heights Module

Prerequisites

- Minimum 18 yo - Statement of no health contraindications to participate in the training - WINDA ID number - Working shoes and gloves - Delegates must hold a valid and in-date GWO Working at Heights or Refresher Certificate.

Objective

The aim of GWO Working at Height Refresher training is to teach delegates to support and care for themselves and others working in the industry by possessing Working at Height knowledge and skills

Course content

The participants are able to demonstrate correct identification of PPE, including identification of European / Global standard markings, e.g. harness, hard hat, lanyards, etc. The participants are able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to correctly inspect, service, store and done the relevant PPE, e.g. harness, lanyards, fall arresters and work positioning equipment. The participants are able to demonstrate correct use of the relevant PPE, e.g. harnesses lanyards, fall arresters and work positioning equipment. This includes correct identification of anchor points and safe conduct while working from or accessing a ladder. The participants are able to demonstrate correct use of evacuation devices. The participants are able to demonstrate how to approach rescue situations in WTG and use rescue equipment efficiently. Course available in Polish/English

Exam

Certification is valid for 2 years. Prior to expiry delegates must retake GWO Working at Heights Training to remain certified.
