Prerequisites
For level 1 : - 18 years of age. For level 2: - IRATA Level 1 with a minimum of 1000 logged hours and 12 months experience For level 3: -IRATA Level 2 with a minimum of 1000 logged hours and 12 months experience
Objective
Please be informed that the price include only the training. You need to book assessment separetly. The total price for training and assessment is 3900PLN Level 1 will provide knowledge and training in the safe use and inspection of rope access equipment. To be able to complete a range of rope access techniques under the supervision of an IRATA level three. Level 2 rope access training will enable you to rig working ropes, undertake rescues and perform rope access tasks under the supervision of an IRATA level three. The courses will also include legislation, safety requirements and quality assurance procedures relating to rope access. Level 3 rope access training will enable you to be capable of site supervision for rope access work projects. To demonstrate advanced rescue and rigging techniques along with knowledge of relevant legislation, work techniques and equipment use and limitations.
Course content
Level 1 Theoretical knowledge of rope access with regard to safe use of equipment and techniques. This will include an understanding of risk assessments and method statements. An understanding and practical application of rigging techniques and appropriate knots. Safely carrying out a range of rope access manoeuvres. Climbing on structures using work positioning and fall arrest techniques. Rescue of an incapacitated rope access worker to ground level. Level 2 Theoretical knowledge and practical application of rigging techniques and appropriate knots. Safely and efficiently carrying out a range of rope access manoeuvres. Climbing on structures using work positioning and fall arrest techniques. A range of rescues including both abseil and hauling techniques. Level 3 Theoretical knowledge of rope access with regard to safe use of equipment, legislation and techniques. This will include a sound knowledge of the IRATA code of practice, risk assessments, method statements and worksite organisation. Theoretical knowledge and practical application of rigging techniques and appropriate. Safely and efficiently carrying out a range of rope access manoeuvres. Climbing on structures using work positioning and fall arrest techniques. A range of rescues including both abseil and hauling techniques. Advanced rescue and team exercises. Course available in Polish/English
Exam
The course is assessed on day five by an independent IRATA assessor. Period of valid certification: 3 years
