Personnel who will be working in the wind industry or related fields, and will carry out their duties in a wind turbine environment, usually in physical contact with a wind turbine or offshore wind structure.

- Minimum 18 yo
- Statement of no health contraindications to participate in the training
- WINDA ID number
- Working shoes and gloves
Objective
The goal of training GWO Manual Handling is to teach delegates to support and take care of themselves and other working in the industry by having knowledge and skills of manually movement of weights
Course content
All learning outcomes which are stated in the GWO BST Module Working at Heights standard.
To include:
- Global and national legislation
- Required PPE for Working and Rescue at Heights
- Practical training in Working at Heights
- Emergency procedures and evacuation scenarios
- Rescue procedures and practical scenarios
Course available in Polish/English
Exam
Certification is valid for 2 years. Prior to expiry delegates must retake GWO Manual Handling Refresher Training to remain certified.
