Helicopter Underwater Escape incl. Airpocket with E-learning (Norwegian)

Helicopter passengers who are required to use a survival suit with an integrated breathing apparatus.

No prerequisites required.

After completing the course, participants will have acquired knowledge about preparations for a water landing and be able to evacuate efficiently and independently from a submerged or floating helicopter. Course participants will be able to use a breathing apparatus as an aid during evacuation.

E-Learning: - Preparations for water landing - Breathing apparatus - Procedures for underwater evacuation - Organized evacuation - Helicopter emergency systems and equipment Practical: - Water acclimatization exercises with a breathing apparatus in shallow water - Underwater evacuation exercises with the use of a breathing apparatus - Underwater evacuation exercises without the use of a breathing apparatus - Organized evacuation - Characteristics and equipment of helicopter fleets.
