Objective
Refresher of the training of workers about Safety aspects inherent to the performance of Tightness tests, in accordance with the Regulatory Norm 34 (Annex I, Item 5).
Course content
Theoretical Module – 4 hours • Study of Regulatory Norm 34, Item 34.14; • Basic Principles, Objective and Application Field of Tightness Tests; • Physical Quantities; • Technical Standards and Procedures for Tightness Test; • Test System; • Special Features from Systems to be Tested; • Hazards Identification and Risk Analysis: 1) Concepts of Hazards and Risks; 2) Techniques for Hazards Identification and for Risk Analysis; 3) JSA – Job Safety Analysis. • Permit to Work; • Protection Systems (Collective and Individual); • Determining Isolation. Practical Module – 4 hours • Inspection of Equipment to Perform the Test; • Checking the Validity of Test Equipment Certificates; • Assembly and Testing of the System; • Test Report (Non-Destructive Test). Legislation: SIT Ordinance n.º 200, 20/01/2011. Regulatory Norm 34 (Annex I. Items 5; 5.1 and 5.2).
