Prerequisites
- RG and CPF;
- Passport (expatriate);
- Certificate of the Basic Safety Course for Hot Work Activities – General Safety Module.
Objective
Provide the student general knowledge for hot work safety with portable rotating machines
Course content
Activity with Hand-held Rotary – Risks and Ways of Prevention:
• Cutting and Buffing Equipment;
• Accessories: Hoods, Abrasive Cut-Off Wheels, Buffing Disc, Brush, Grinding, Sanding and Others;
• Safety Systems;
• Physical Protection Against Sparks;
• Electrical Protection – Frames, Circuit Breakers and Power Cables;
• PPE and CPE.
