Target group

Workers who operate Fast Rescue Boats or who might become part of the Fast Rescue Boat support team.

Prerequisites

-- Be more than 18 years old; - RG and CPF; - Passport (expatriate); - Occupational health certificate (ASO) or certificate of good physical and health condition; - Certificate of Lifeboat course (CESS).

Objective

Qualify the students to perform tasks involving Fast Rescue Boats, according to item 5.6.2.2 of Resolution A-1079 (28) of 04.12.2013, from the International Maritime Organization and Rule VI / 2 of the International STCW Convention and Section A-VI / 2 and Table A-VI / 2-2 of the STCW Code.

Course content

1. Structure, characteristics and equipment of the Fast Rescue Boat - 04 hours 2. Procedures for rescue operations into boats - 08 hours 3. Safety and emergency procedure - 08 hours 4. Maneuver practice with fast rescue boat - 08 hours Reserve time – 02 hours Exam time – 02 hours Legislation: NORMAM-104 Resolution A-1079 (28) of 12.04.2013, the International Maritime Organization and Regulation VI / 2 of the International STCW Convention and Section A-VI / 2 and Table A-VI / 2-2 of the STCW Code.

Exam

Multiple choice exam with minimum passing grade of 60%. Validity: 5 years
