Objective
Enable cranes regarding the safety aspects of working with onshore and offshore crane operation.
Course content
1. Cranes on platforms (operational characteristics, operating procedures, emergency, maintenance and inspection); 2. Accidents at work and their prevention 3. Safety and security devices, CPE and PPE; 4. Load Capacity Tables and Lifting Angles; 5. Applicable devices in Regulatory Norms (NR-6, NR-10, N-11 and NR-17) 6. Lifting operations and transporting cargo and people; 7. Lifting equipments (types of equipment, inspections of the equipments and accessories); 8. Special situations and risk, such as: weather and sea conditions, cargo transfer between vessels, simultaneous operations, movement of loads in the vicinity of an energized electrical network, among others; 9. Ergonomics at the workplace; 10. Practical exercises on board; 11. Final test. Technical Reference: NR- 34 and NR-37.
Exam
The students will be evaluated through direct observation of practical activities and one theoretical evaluation will be done at the end of the course. The passing mark is 60% to the theoretical evaluation.
