Objective
Enable cranes regarding the safety aspects of working with onshore and offshore crane operation.
Course content
1. Cranes on platforms (operational characteristics, operating procedures, emergency, maintenance and inspection);
2. Accidents at work and their prevention
3. Safety and security devices, CPE and PPE;
4. Load Capacity Tables and Lifting Angles;
5. Applicable devices in Regulatory Norms (NR-6, NR-10, N-11 and NR-17)
6. Lifting operations and transporting cargo and people;
7. Lifting equipments (types of equipment, inspections of the equipments and accessories);
8. Special situations and risk, such as: weather and sea conditions, cargo transfer between vessels, simultaneous operations, movement of loads in the vicinity of an energized electrical network, among others;
9. Ergonomics at the workplace;
10. Practical exercises on board;
11. Final test.

Exam
The students will be evaluated through direct observation of practical activities and one theoretical evaluation will be done at the end of the course. The passing mark is 60% to the theoretical evaluation.
