All workers who operate machinery and / or equipment, and carry out maintenance, inspection and other operations on board maritime units.
Prerequisites
- RG;
- CPF;
- Passport (Expatriate);
- Occupational Health Certificate (ASO) or Certificate of good physical and mental health.
Objective
Train workers to safely operate machinery and equipment on board maritime units.
Course content
Theory – 6 hours
1. Description and identification of the risks associated with each machine and equipment and the specific protections against each of them;
2. Protection functions; how and why they should be used;
3. How and under what circumstances a protection can be removed;
4. What to do if a protection has been damaged or has lost its function, failing to ensure adequate safety;
5. The principles of safety in the use of the machine or equipment;
6. Safety for hazards mechanical, electrical and other relevant;
7. Safe work method;
8. Permit to work; and
9. Locking system for operation of the machine and equipment during inspection, cleaning, lubrication and maintenance operations.
Practice – 1h15min.
1. Completion of Machine and Equipment Operational Checklist;
2. Identification of the Moving, Fixed and Interconnected Parts of the Equipment;
3. Identification of Risks Related to the Operation Zone of the Equipment or Machine;
4. Recognition of Existing Safety Measures on Equipment.
Exam – 45min.
The practical part is focused on the machines and equipment to which the worker is exposed in the exercise of his function.
