The objective is to educate Boat Masters for Piloiboats in personal safety, seasurvival techniques, first aid procedures incl CPR and hypothermia.
Course content
SEASURVIVAL
- Various emergencies that may occur (collision, grounding, fire, sinking, etc...)
-Various types of rescue equipment that normally exist in ships
-Rescue equipment,
-Personally rescue equipment placing,
-Principals for surviving at sea
FIRST AID
Medicinchest C (Center for Maritim sundhed)
Exam
The delegate has passed the course if the delegate with satisfaction has conducted all exercises, and passed the written test with minimum 80% correct answers.
