Objective
The purpose of this training is to establish maritime authority requirements for the basic course / training in maritime safety, etc. It further aims to meet the requirements for basic safety training as described in the STCW Convention A Code Title VI / 1, paragraph 2, the tables A-VI/1-1, AVI/1-3 and A-VI/1-4.
Course content
A-VI/1-1 STCW - Personal Survival Techniques
* Various emergencies that may occur (collision, grounding, fire, sinking, etc...)
* Various types of rescue equipment that normally exist in ships
* Rescue equipment,
* Personally rescue equipment placing,
* Principals for surviving at sea
A-VI/1-3 STCW Elementary First Aid
* Assess the need for help for injured persons and threats to own safety
* Have an understanding of body structure and functions,
* Have an understanding of initiatives to be implemented immediately in emergencies
Ad A-VI/1-4 STCW - Personal safety and social responsibilities
* Be familiar with emergency plans that will be taken in action during emergencies
* Have knowledge of alarm signals and separate duties the crew has been assigned according to the alarm instructions; muster points; proper use of personal safety equipment,
* have knowledge of basic procedures for the protection of the environment,
* understand the importance of always following safe work procedures, etc.
