Target group
Seafarers that require the basic skills according to STCW A-VI/2-1
Prerequisites
Before admission to the course the student must - Be of at least 18 years of age, - Have the skills: STCW Convention A Code Title VI / 1, paragraph 2, the tables A-VI/1-1, AVI/1-2, AVI/1-3 and A-VI/1-4. - Have acquired 6 months of service in seagoing merchant vessels with a gross tonnage of 20 or more and - Be in possession of valid health certificate for seafarers. Note: Persons who do not pre-course has reached the required time of service in seagoing merchant vessels will be permitted to attend the course but can`t obtain certificate of competence before sufficient service is achieved.
Objective

Course content
Operation and construction of: - Liferafts - Lifeboats - Man-over-board boats - Life saving appliances - Life-saving first aid - hemorrhage, - shock -hypothermia
Exam
The course must be completed whit satisfaction for handing out certificate.
