Objective
Persons holding a valid certificate as a restricted professional scuba diver may carry out diving operations at depths of up to 9 metres with equipment that is not surface supplied and while using atmospheric air or nitrox as breathing gas. Such work is limited to lighter diving operations such as feeding fish, cleaning, safety diving in training pools and the like in artificial environments such as aquariums, swimming pools and training pools, and  has to be arranged in a proper way in terms of health and safety  should not require the use of anything besides hand tools or similar
Course content
The examinations, as well as the teaching, at the Commercial Diver Training Centre at the RelyOn Nutec 360o Safey (RONS) are carried out in accordance with the guidelines related to the assessment, testing and evaluation of participants in maritime training programmes issued by the Danish Maritime Authority (Søfartsstyrelsen). The examinations’ scheme is shown below: 1. written, and 2. practical / oral examination Both are marked using the 7-grading scale set down by the Danish Ministry of Education, and in order to pass the professional diver test, none of the marks shall be lower than 02. Only applicants, who have obtained at least 02 in the practical diving, shall be registered for examinations. A teacher who has taught the diving course and an external censor appointed by Søfartsstyrelsen perform the marking of the written examination. The practical / oral examination takes place under the supervision of RONS instructors and with a censor – appointed by Søfartsstyrelsen – in attendance. Only applicants who have passed the written examination are admitted to the final practical / oral examination. If a candidate is not able to attend any of the examinations due to illness, a new date for examination is arranged for the person in question. In case a student fails any of the examinations, he / she can repeat the examinations a maximum
