Target group
This training is intended for personnel who have responsibilities for the management of onshore tactical support for emergency situations for offshore facilities and industrial sites.
Prerequisites
No prior training is required by delegates attending this training course.
Objective
This course has been developed to train support teams and managers (Persons in Charge) who will co-ordinate medical support, search and rescue, marine assistance / oil spill response, logistics, security, human resources and liaison with strategic control (Crisis Management teams). This course principles are driven by the ICS (Incident Command System) addressing tactical decisions and response which works in conjunction with our current MEM (Major Emergency Management) training for operational response offshore and onshore plants and facilities.
Course content
This course consists of practical and theoretical training and knowledge of: • Activating of team members • Battle Books & Checklists and Information management • Casualty tracking, • Asset Management • Liaising with & gathering Information from site • Technical Logistics – Marine, Aviation, Land based Vehicles • Casualty Management - Medical Dispatch / Medical Receiving – Staff & Contractor • Notifications - Internal • Notifications & Agency Liaison (DPR, NOSDRA, NIMASA, Police, Contractors etc.) • Security
Exam
On completion of this course, a written assessment will be taken.
