Prerequisites
Participants are expected to have knowledge on safe work systems.
Objective
The aims and objectives of this training is to equip the delegate with the necessary knowledge, understanding and skills to perform the act of rescuing from height.
Course content
This course focuses on:
▪ Legislative and safe working practices
▪ Hazards associated with rescues from height
▪ Control measures
▪ Techniques for rescues from height
▪ Types of equipment available
▪ Practical exercises incorporating rescue from height and the use of equipment assembling and deployment.
▪ Emergency scenarios of rescue requirements of casualties.
Exam
On completion of this course, a written assessment will be taken.
