Describe what a scaffold is and why it is used Recognize the basic components of a scaffold Identify hazards associated with the use of scaffolding Understand fall protection requirements and when to use personal fall arrest systems (PFAS), guardrails, or safety nets Identify the roles and responsibilities of employers, employees, competent persons, and qualified persons Explain OSHA's training requirements and when retraining is necessary
