This programme is designed to meet the further offshore safety and emergency response training requirements for personnel working oil & gas industry
Prerequisites
Items to Bring: All delegates must bring Photographic I.D. and PASSPORT only (original or copy)
Language: All courses are delivered in English, but translators can be arranged accordingly.
Health: Delegates must be in possession of a valid medical certificate and must complete a medical questionnaire at the beginning of the course.
Objective
The aim of the FOET is to provide the delegates with the opportunity to practise and demonstrate emergency response skills which are not possible to practise during drills, exercises and emergency training offshore.
Course content
Delegates will receive theoretical and practical knowledge in the following areas:
Helicopter Safety & Escape:
a) Use of Emergency Breathing System (EBS) equipment.
b) Practical emergency escape training with EBS.
c) Practical emergency ditching and escape training with the use of EBS.
Fire Fighting and Self Rescue:
a) Use of hand held extinguishers.
b) Operation of fixed hose reels.
c) Self rescue techniques in reduced visibility and completely obscured visibility.
d) Use of escape hoods.
Emergency First Aid:
a) Raising the alarm.
b) Immediate First Aid actions including "ABC".
Exam
RelyOn Nutec approved certification for 'Further Offshore Emergency Training (Non-OPITO)' will be issued on successful completion of the training programme.
Delegates should report to reception for 08.00hrs, course starts at 08.15hrs, unless otherwise stated.
