Target group
Every member of staff needs Fire Awareness Training. You can use this programme to ensure that you comply with current legislation, keep your workplace safer, learn evacuation procedures, and take part in fire extinguisher training, strengthening your overall fire health and safety training regime
Prerequisites
ITEMS TO BRING: All delegates must bring Photographic I.D. and PASSPORT only (original or copy) HEALTH: All delegates will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire prior to course commencement.
Objective
To give you an understanding of fire and actions to be carried out in the event of a fire. This will be achieved through both the theoretical and practical training

Theory: Legislation and statutory duties Behaviour and response to fire Means of escape/evacuation How fire is created How fires can be extinguished Classifications of fires Fire extinguishers their capabilities and uses Practical: Correct and Safe use of Fire Extinguishers
Exam
RelyOn Nutec approved certification for will be issued on successful completion of the training programme. The validity of the certificate is 2 years. Delegates should report to reception for 08.00 unless stated otherwise.
