The inspection of electrical installations is intended for electrical experts who want to carry out inspections of low-voltage installations in accordance with NEN 3140 and NEN 1010-6. The electrical engineering employee who is charged with repair work following inspections will also benefit from this inspection course.
Prerequisites
To follow the low-voltage inspector course, you must have completed an electro-technical vocational training programme at EQF level 3. EQF stands for European Qualification Framework. This level corresponds to a secondary education in electro-technology (MBO level 3), but you can also achieve this level with sufficient knowledge and experience from practice.
Objective
The NEN 1010/NEN 3140 Low-Voltage Inspector 1 (ILS 1) course from RelyOn Quercus prepares you to carry out basic inspection activities on existing (NEN 3140) and new (NEN 1010) low-voltage installations. The inspection consists of a visual inspection and a measurement and testing part.
We explain the visual inspection based on practical situations. You will use your own measuring equipment to take measurements in our practice room to get to know your instrument better. You will also test the values against the acceptance criteria set by the applicable standard. By obtaining the personal low-voltage inspector certificate, you will have the electrical expertise needed to draw up an inspection plan and carry it out correctly.
Course content
The low-voltage inspector 1 (ILS) course covers the following subjects:
Occupational Health and Safety Act and Occupational Health and Safety Decree
