Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce you to the ATEX Directives. You will be provided with information that will enable you to comply with the minimum safety requirements for workplaces that use, and equipment used within, explosive atmospheres.

LO8: Identify the different types of zones
LO9: Introduce the Equipment Directive
LO10: Explain the ATEX equipment classification system
LO11: Identify ATEX equipment markings
LO12: Explain the obligations of manufacturers, authorised representative importers and distributors
Exam
The assessment is taken during the course and is within the expected duration.
