Target group
Personnel who are not primarily involved in lifting operations, and would only support such activities under supervision. The aim is to provide the delegate with knowledge of the lifting principles, general hazards and risks of lifting operations, an awareness of relevant legislation and regulation, and an opportunity to practice basic rigging operations following a lifting plan

Following completion of the programme delegates should: Have Knowledge and Understanding of: Work area and equipment preparation and reinstatement requirements for moving loads under supervision Tools, terminology, techniques and practices for moving construction loads under supervision   Be able to Demonstrate: Work Safely and minimise risk at all times Prepare work area and equipment Move engineering construction loads under supervision Carry out necessary actions after completing the movement of loads

Exam
Candidates will need to pass a knowledge assessment (pass mark 80%), and will have a practical observation conducted by an ECITB approved tutor. Successful candidates will be awarded with an ECITB approved certificate.
