The Use of Rescue Equipment course is designed for personnel who carry out Working at Height activities on a regular basis. The course is designed for those personnel who will be part of a rescue team for Working at Height activities, or who are expected to perform rescue and recovery.
Prerequisites
A current Working at Height and Harness Equipment User certificate
Objective
The course aim is to provide the delegates with the understanding of working at height legislation regarding rescue and recovery, the methods of rescue using rescue equipment and systems, and the understanding of casualty handling.
Course content
The course consists of both theory and practical training (predominately practical).
The content of the course will include the following:
Working at Height Legislation (Rescue and Recovery)
Working at Height Hazards
Rescue and Recovery
Suspension Syncope
Rescue Equipment
Exam
On successful completion of this course, delegates will be issued a RelyOnNutec certificate. (Valid for 3 Years)
