This course is designed for established First Aiders to achieve competence in advanced principles and techniques of Airway and Fluids management, and is suitable for personnel holding an HSE approved Offshore First Aid certificate who require training to be able to provide advanced assistance to the Rig Medic.
Prerequisites
Delegates must hold a valid Offshore First Aid certificate (HSE Approved) to undertake the training programme.
Objective
The course consists of a combination of theoretical and practical elements on completion of which delegates will be able to demonstrate knowledge, understanding and competence in advanced airway and fluids management. Delegates will be assessed by qualified assessors on understanding and competence of each module undertaken during the training programme.
