Objective
The aim of these Health and Safety Awareness Training Courses, operated under the Client/Contractor National Safety Group Scheme, is to ensure that, on successful completion, all personnel working as a Contractor on a site controlled by a participating Client shall have an appropriate basic knowledge of health and safety and should therefore, after suitable site induction, work on site more safely and with lower risk to themselves and others.
Course content
Update Course This course consist of theory sessions based on 10 compulsory modules: Introduction to Health and Safety Law and Work Permits Safe Working Practices Safe Access and Egress Accident and First Aid Procedures Fire Precautions and Procedures Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Safe Manual Handling Noise at Work Regulations and The Prevention of Noise Induced Hearing Loss Safe Working  Cranes and Heavy Equipment Safe Working  Excavations
Exam
10 sets of 10 questions per subject. A pass rate of 70% Delegates will be issued with a CCNSG Site Safety Passport Renewal card if they are successful, which is valid for 3 years
