Working Safely is a one day course for staff from any sector with no supervisory or managerial responsibility.
It provides grounding in the essentials of health and safety and why they must work safely.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for attending the IOSH Working Safely.
Objective
The training is delivered by theoretical input and discussions based on set safety modules set in a high impact interactive package
Course content
These courses consist of theory sessions based on 5 compulsory modules:
Introducing working safely
Defining hazard and risk
Identifying common hazards
Improving safety performance
Protecting our environment
Exam
Delegates who successfully complete the written and practical assessments have a choice of accreditation, either an IOSH certificate or an IOSH passport card.
