The Certificate of Updated Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats is for any seafarer who will take charge of a Fast Rescue Craft in an emergency situation and are required to provide evidence of maintaining the necessary standard of competence.
Prerequisites
Delegates must be in possession of a Certificate of Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats or equivalent.
AND
Delegates must also sign a self-declaration form highlighting onboard experience and training. Delegates must bring their Seamans Discharge Book to validate the information on the self-declaration form.
Objective
The objective of the Updated Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats course is to give delegates the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills required to maintain the necessary standard of competence in fast rescue boats.
