This course is for agents, supervisors and network managers with entry level experience of working in a utility environment, and managers with no formal qualifications in gas networks.

• Butt Fusion/Electro Fusion techniques.
• Main-laying techniques.
• Bag Stop operations.
• Squeeze off connections.
• Pressure testing.
• Mains purging.
Exam
Theory is delivered in the classroom but there is an emphasis within the course to undertake practical applications of service and mainlaying operations, in order to gain hands on appreciation in relevant aspects.
Accreditation is undertaken through written question papers.
