Solar Competency Programme (Roof Mount) qualification is a practical focussed course to provide proof of competency in the installation of solar panels for residential (slate and clay tiles) and commercial (including flat roofing) settings. In response to industry demands, this course is specifically designed for contractors including Roofers, Scaffolders, Constructions Workers and Electricians seeking to expand their capabilities in response to industry demand.
Prerequisites
A general level of fitness/weight restrictions are required to fulfil the practical training requirements.
Objective
Our Solar Installation Package teaches delegates practical skills for both residential and commercial Solar PV site installations (including Working at Height, Harness Awareness and Manual Handling), and also provides proof of competency upon assessment.

Exam
