The Confined Space High Risk Course is ideal for individuals who work in high risk confined spaces. A high risk confined space can be defined as a space where there are issues with access, this can include obstructions and challenges entering and exiting the space safely.
Prerequisites

Objective
"The City & Guilds Level 2 Award in High Risk Confined Spaces course (6160-03) is ideal for workers who operate as part of a team working in high risk confined spaces. The course will incorporate practical learning that will equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to practice safe working in high risk confined spaces on land or water.

Course content
"Delegates will be exposed to real-world scenarios through practical learning methods. Learners will gain an understanding of the safety procedures required for entering and exiting high risk confined spaces and gain an awareness of how to prepare and use the appropriate respiratory protective equipment (RPE).
• Candidates will learn how to:
• Prepare to enter and work safely in high risk confined spaces.
• Enter and exit confined spaces safely.
• Use equipment and tools safely and in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.
• Follow procedures and work safely.
• Deal with emergencies.
• Use appropriate behaviour for working in high risk confined spaces."
Exam
Assessments in the High Risk Confined Space Course are conducted in a practical environment and aim to identify delegates understanding and awareness of the safety procedures required to work safely in high risk confined spaces.
